Art Club worked hard at completing their final projects!

K-2nd grade continued building their imaginative worlds. They added details to their backgrounds and created characters that stand upright and pop out from the scene. Their ideas were creative and exciting, and it was wonderful to watch them bring those ideas to life. After finishing their pop-up designs, we helped attach backing pieces so their artwork could stand by itself. Once they had finished, they worked on completing their books and spent time sketching in their sketchbooks.

3-5th grade artists completed their 3D worlds. These projects included multiple layers, helping students think about perspective and depth. Some artists used string or added extra layers to enhance their characters and designs. Each piece is unique and very creative. Students carefully considered their backgrounds, characters, and details to make their work stand out. After finishing, they had time to explore model magic clay. Some students discovered they could color the clay with markers and enjoyed experimenting with it.

All artists experienced small challenges during Art Club with their creative process. With guidance, they were able to complete their ideas. They learned that art is a process, and each step helps them grow.
